Le/la secrétaire / responsable de l’accueil est chargé(e) d’assurer le bon fonctionnement quotidien des services d’accueil et de soutien administratif de l’établissement. Il/elle constitue le premier point de contact pour les visiteurs, les parents, le personnel et les élèves, tout en apportant un soutien opérationnel aux enseignants et à l’administration.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk & Communication
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, students, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, documents)
- Provide accurate information to parents and stakeholders when requested
2. Administrative Support
- Maintain and organize school records, files, and documentation
- Manage and update the school calendar, including appointments, meetings, and events
- Support the Administrative Director and Principal and the administrative team with
day-to-day administrative tasks - Prepare basic lists, and administrative documents as needed
3. Support to Teachers & Students
- Respond to teachers’ needs regarding equipment, IT support coordination, and stationery
- Ensure availability and proper distribution of teaching materials and supplies
- Assist students with basic administrative needs or direct them to the appropriate staff.
4. Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of office supplies, stationery, and basic equipment
- Place orders for supplies when necessary and ensure timely replenishment
- Keep inventory records updated and organized
5. Visitor & Facility Coordination
- Manage visitor access and maintain visitor logs
- Coordinate logistics such as school transport (e.g., school bus arrivals)
- Arrange taxis or transport when required.
6. Communication with Parents
- Inform parents of relevant updates or messages as instructed by management
- Support communication between school and families
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative or front desk roles (preferably in a school environment)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, document management)
- Professional attitude with a high level of discretion and reliability
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Teacher Positions
Spanish Teacher
Position Overview
The Spanish Teacher at EFIC works with secondary school students according to a timetable determined at the beginning of each academic year, depending on the number of classes concerned. For the 2026–2027 school year, the teaching load is 7 hours per week.
The teacher reports directly to the Head of School / School Principal and is responsible for teaching Spanish to students from Grade 7 (5ème) onwards, including students enrolled in the CNED (Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance) programme.
For CNED students, the Spanish Teacher acts as a tutor, supporting students in completing the coursework and assignments required by CNED. In this capacity, the teacher works closely with the other CNED tutors, one of whom is responsible for coordinating the
programme. The teacher may also be required to participate in pedagogical meetings throughout the
school year.
Main Responsibilities
Teaching
- Deliver Spanish language instruction to secondary school students.
- Prepare lessons in accordance with students’ needs and curriculum requirements.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
CNED Tutoring
- Support CNED students in completing their Spanish coursework.
- Monitor student progress and ensure regular follow-up.
- Collaborate with the CNED coordination team and other tutors.
Collaboration
- Participate in pedagogical meetings and school activities when required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the school administration.
- Maintain regular communication with students and families regarding academic progress
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor +3) in Spanish Language, Spanish Studies,
Education, or a related field from a French-speaking or Spanish-speaking institution. - Minimum five years of experience teaching secondary school students.
Professional references and employment certificates will be required.
Desired Skills
- Good command of the French language.
Knowledge of the French educational system and official curricula is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Experience supporting students in distance-learning programmes is an advantage.
Sinhala Language Teacher (3 Hours Per Week)

Main Mission
To teach the fundamentals of the Sinhala language to primary school students, enabling
them to interact more easily within the host country and gain a better understanding of the
local culture.
Responsibilities
Lesson Preparation
- Develop an age-appropriate curriculum.
- Prepare a variety of engaging teaching materials and resources.
Teaching
- Deliver 3 hours of Sinhala lessons per week.
- Introduce students to Sinhala grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation using interactive and engaging teaching methods.
Assessment
- Assess students’ progress regularly.
- Adapt teaching methods and content according to students’ needs and learning outcomes.
Cultural Awareness
- Incorporate elements of Sri Lankan culture into lessons.
- Encourage projects and activities related to Sinhala language and culture.
Communication
- Provide regular feedback to parents on students’ progress.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff and school administration
Required Skills
- Excellent command of Sinhala (spoken and written).
- Teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.

Qualifications
- Degree or qualification in Education, Linguistics, Sinhala Studies, or a related field (preferred).

2. General Purpose
The School Supervisor contributes to the smooth running of school life, student safety, and the enforcement of school rules and procedures. The role supports students’ well-being and helps maintain a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment.
3. Main Responsibilities
A. Student Supervision and Safety
- Welcome students upon arrival and supervise their departure at the end of the school day.
- Supervise break times, transitions between classes, study periods, and independent learning sessions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school premises.
- Assist in supervising students during lunch periods.
- Accompany students between the secondary campus and the main campus when required.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, accidents, or emergency situations.
B. Student Welfare and Discipline
- Ensure compliance with the school’s rules, policies, and procedures.
- Help prevent and manage conflicts between students through dialogue and mediation.
- Report incidents and behavioral concerns to the school leadership team.

D. Resource Management and Administrative Support
- Assist in monitoring and managing educational resources and equipment.
- Ensure the proper use and care of school facilities and materials.
- Report maintenance needs and follow up on required interventions.
- Support the management of the School Library (CDI), including cataloguing, labeling, lending, and organizing resources.
4. Desired Profile
