Math and Science Teacher
Main Responsibilities
CNED Support (Grades 8 to 12 – small groups):
- Provide pedagogical support tailored to students’ individual needs
- Monitor and assess student progress in collaboration with the educational team
- Contribute to teaching resources and educational projects
- Support students in their academic and career orientation choices
- Oversee exam preparation and follow-up (DNB, Baccalauréat) with CNED and the relevant academic authorities
- Support students in internships and observation placements
- Organize certifications (ASSR, PIX) and JDC requirements
- Ensure the inclusion and support of students with special educational needs (PPRE, PAI, PAP, PPS), including exam accommodations
Direct Teaching (Grades 6 and 7 – small groups):
- Teach Mathematics and Science in accordance with the French national curriculum
- Act as the homeroom teacher for the class
- Work collaboratively with the CM2 (Grade 5) teacher
- Prepare for the opening of a Grade 7 class
- Ensure the inclusion and support of students with special educational needs
Required Knowledge
- French education system and school project
- Schooling procedures and administrative processes
- Teaching methods and tools, including digital resources
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Mathematics and Science
- International experience preferred
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively and in co-teaching settings
- Strong command of digital tools in the classroom.
Working Conditions
- 27 hours per week (24 teaching hours + 3 hours for meetings and pedagogical follow-up)
